Aqua Stars burst Hwange’s bubble, defeating the coal miners 1-0 in a pulsating match at Chiefs Village on Saturday.

Once underway, Hwange struggled to find their rhythm despite dominating possession. While Aquastars had moments of brilliance, it was Marvelous Ncube who scored the only and deciding goal in the 53rd minute.
This result marks Hwange’s first defeat of the season, allowing Talen Vision to close the gap at the top of the table to just three points.
Talen Vision beat Njube Spurs 4-0, moving within three points of the log leaders, while Nkayi also gained ground after beating Imbizo 2-0.
