Talen Vision’s title push took a hit yesterday after they were held 1-1 by Zimbabwe Saints at Chiefs Village.
The Filabusi side finished the match with 10 men in week 10 of the Pacific Breeze Southern Region Soccer League.
Gabriel Rugoho ended his goal drought in the 4th minute, slotting home to give Talen Vision an early lead and take his season tally to six goals.
The advantage was short-lived. Defender Polite Mwenda was shown a straight red card for fouling Zim Saints striker Nkosikhona Masumbuko, and Zim Saints converted the resulting penalty to grab the equaliser.
Both sides went into halftime at 1-1, and despite chances at either end, the scoreline remained unchanged through full time.
The draw means Talen Vision dropped two vital points and now sit six points behind log leaders Hwange.
